Καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπορεύθη ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὁδὸν ἡμέρας, καὶ ἦλθε καὶ ἐκάθισεν ὑποκάτω ῥαθμὲν, καὶ ᾐτήσατο τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἀποθανεῖν· καὶ εἶπεν, ἱκανούσθω νῦν, λάβε δὴ τὴν ψυχήν μου ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ Κύριε, ὅτι οὐ κρείσσων ἐγώ εἰμι ὑπὲρ τοὺς πατέρας μου.
