τότε ἀνέστη Σίμων, καὶ ἐπολέμησε περὶ τοῦ ἔθνους αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐδαπάνησε χρήματα πολλὰ τῶν ἑαυτοῦ, καὶ ὡπλοδότησε τοὺς ἄνδρας τῆς δυνάμεως τοῦ ἔθνους αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς ὀψώνια,
