If evils come upon us, the sword, judgment, pestilence or famine, we will stand before this house and before Thee; for Thy name is on this house; and cry to Thee, because of the affliction, and Thou wilt hear and save.

If there should come upon us evils, sword, judgment, pestilence, famine, we will stand before this house, and before thee, (for thy name is upon this house,) and we will cry to thee because of the affliction, and thou shalt hear, and deliver.

ἐὰν ἐπέλθῃ ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς κακὰ, ῥομφαία, κρίσις, θάνατος, λιμὸς, στησόμεθα ἐναντίον τοῦ οἴκου τούτου καὶ ἐναντίον σου, ὅτι τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐπὶ τῷ οἴκῳ τούτῳ, καὶ βοησόμεθα πρὸς σὲ ἀπὸ τῆς θλίψεως, καὶ ἀκούσῃ καὶ σώσεις.
