Now therefore, O Lord God of Israel, keep with Thy servant David, my father, that which Thou hast spoken to him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man before Me sitting on the throne of Israel, provided thy sons take heed to their way to walk in My law as thou hast walked before Me.

And now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father the things which thou spokest to him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man before me sitting on the throne of Israel, if only thy sons will take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou didst walk before me.

Καὶ νῦν, Κύριε ὁ Θεὸς Ἰσραὴλ, φύλαξον τῷ παιδί σου τῷ Δαυὶδ τῷ πατρί μου ἃ ἐλάλησας αὐτῷ, λέγων, οὐκ ἐκλείψει σοι ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ προσώπου μου καθήμενος ἐπὶ θρόνου Ἰσραὴλ, πλὴν ἐὰν φυλάξωσιν οἱ υἱοί σου τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτῶν τοῦ πορεύεσθαι ἐν τῷ νόμῳ μου, ὡς ἐπορεύθης ἐναντίον μου.
