Thou indeed wilt hear from heaven, from Thy settled abode, and be merciful, and wilt render to everyone according to his ways, as Thou knowest his heart; (for thou alone knowest the hearts of the children of men)

καὶ σὺ εἰσακούσῃ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐξ ἑτοίμου κατοικητηρίου σου, καὶ ἱλάσῃ, καὶ δώσεις ἀνδρὶ κατὰ τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτοῦ, ὡς ἂν γνῷς τὴν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ, ὅτι μόνος γινώσκεις τὴν καρδίαν υἱῶν ἀνθρώπων,
