And when all the Israelites saw the fire descending and the glory of the Lord on the house, they fell with their face to the ground on the pavement. And when they had worshipped, they sung to the Lord the hymn of praise, For it is good: for his mercy endureth forever,

Καὶ πάντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραὴλ ἑώρων καταβαῖνον τὸ πῦρ, καὶ ἡ δόξα Κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον· καὶ ἔπεσον ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐπὶ τὸ λιθόστρωτον, καὶ προσεκύνησαν καὶ ᾔνουν τῷ Κυρίῳ, ὅτι ἀγαθὸν, ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ.
