though there had not been left to Joachaz any army, but only fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand infantry. For the king of Syria, had destroyed them and made them like dust to be trampled on.

Ὅτι οὐχ ὑπελείφθη τῷ Ἰωάχαζ λαὸς, ἀλλʼ ἢ πεντήκοντα ἱππεῖς καὶ δέκα ἅρματα καὶ δέκα χιλιάδες πεζῶν, ὅτι ἀπώλεσεν αὐτοὺς βασιλεὺ Συρίας, καὶ ἔθεντο αὐτοὺς ὡς χοῦν εἰς καταπάτησιν.
