but king Joram had returned to Jezrael to be cured of the wounds which the Syrians had given him when he fought Azael king of Syria. Therefore Jehu said, If your soul is with me let no deserter escape from the city to go and tell the news at Jezrael.

And king Joram had returned to be healed in Jezrael of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, in his war with Azael king of Syria. And Ju said, If your heart is with me, let there not go forth out of the city one fugitive to go and report to Jezrael.

Καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν Ἰωρὰμ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἰατρευθῆναι ἐν Ἰσζράελ ἀπὸ τῶν πληγῶν ὧν ἔπαισαν αὐτὸν οἱ Σύροι ἐν τῷ πολεμεῖν αὐτὸς μετὰ Ἀζαὴλ βασιλέως Συρίας. Καὶ εἶπεν Ἰοὺ, εἰ ἔστι ψυχὴ ὑμῶν μετʼ ἐμοῦ, μὴ ἐξελθέτω ἐκ τῆς πόλεως διαπεφευγὼς τοῦ πορευθῆναι καὶ ἀπαγγεῖλαι ἐν Ἰεζράελ.
