Ὕποπτος δὲ γενόμενος ὁ ἀρχιερεῦς, μήποτε διάληψιν ὁ βασιλεὺς σχῇ, κακουργίαν τινὰ περὶ τὸν Ἡλιόδωρον ὑπὸ τῶν Ἰουδαίων συντετελέσθαι, προσήγαγε θυσίαν ὑπὲρ τῆς τοῦ ἀνδρὸς σωτηρίας.
