Εὐθέως δὲ ὁ Ἡλιόδωρος ἐποιεῖτο τὴν παρείαν, τῇ μὲν ἐμφάσει ὡς τὰς κατὰ κοίλην Συρίαν καὶ Φοινίκην πόλεις ἐφοδεύσων, τῷ πράγματι δὲ τὴν τοῦ βασιλέως πρόθεσιν ἐπιτελέσων.
