Διʼ ὃν καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ἡμῶν Ἁβραὰμ ἔσπευδεν τὸν ἐθνοπάτορα υἱὸν σφαγιάσαι Ἰσαὰκ, καὶ τὴν πατρῷαν χεῖρα ξιφηφόρον καταφερομένην ἐπʼ αὐτὸν ὁρῶν οὐκ ἔπτηξεν.
