Θαυμασάντων δὲ πάντων τὴν καρτεροψυχίαν αὐτοῦ, ἦγον οἱ δορυφόροι τὸν καθʼ ἡλικίαν τοῶ προτέρου δεύτερον, καὶ σιδηρᾶς ἐναρμοσάμενοί χεῖρας, ὀξέσιν τοῖς ὄνυξιν, τοῖς ὀργάνοις καταπέλτῃ προσέδησαν αὐτόν.
