Deuteronomy 13:3

you shall not hearken to the words of that prophet, or of that dreamer of dreams; for the Lord thy God trieth you, to know whether you love your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul.

and the sign or the wonder come to pass which he spoke to thee, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye know not;
