Deuteronomy 14:21

Septuagint · public domain
Thomson 1808
Everything which dieth of itself you shall not eat. It may be given to the stranger, who is in thy cities, and he may eat it, or thou mayst sell it to the stranger. Because thou art a people dedicated to the Lord thy God, thou shalt not boil a lamb in the milk of its ewe.
Brenton 1851
Ye shall eat nothing that dies of itself; it shall be given to the sojourner in thy cities and he shall eat it, or thou shalt sell it to a stranger, because thou art a holy people to the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not boil a lamb in his mother's milk.
