Ecclesiastes 7

Ecclesiastes 7:14

Septuagint · public domain
Thomson 1808
In the days of prosperity enjoy good; but consider in the day of adversity—consider that God hath made the one in due proportion to the other, forming a whole, as hath been said, that man cannot find out any of His ways.
Brenton 1851
In the day of prosperity live joyfully, and consider in the day of adversity: consider, I say, God also has caused the one to agree with the other for this reason, that man should find nothing after him.
