And the Lord said to Moses, I have indeed seen the affliction of My people in Egypt and have heard their cry on the account of their task masters; for I know their sorrow, therefore I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them out of that land, and conduct them to a land good and spacious—to a land flowing with milk and honey—to the country of the Chananites and the Chettites and the Amorites, and the Pherezites, and the Gergasites and the Evites and the Jebusites.
