ThomsonFor in the last days, the mount of the Lord will be conspicuous; and the house of God will be on the top of mountains; and exalted above the hills: therefore all the nations will come to it.
BrentonFor in the last days the mountain of the Lord shall be glorious, and the house of God shall be on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall come to it.
GreekὍτι ἔσται ἐν ταῖς ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις ἐμφανὲς τὸ ὄρος Κυρίου, καὶ ὁ οἶκος τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐπʼ ἄκρου τῶν ὀρέων, καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὑπεράνω τῶν βουνῶν, καὶ ἥξουσιν ἐπʼ αὐτὸ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη.

ThomsonMany nations indeed will go, saying: Come, let us go up to the mount of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us His way, and we will walk therein. For from Sion shall go forth a law; and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
BrentonAnd many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will tell us his way, and we will walk in it: for out of Sion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem.

ThomsonAnd He will judge among the nations, and work conviction in many a people: and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares; and their spears into pruning hooks: and nation shall not lift up a sword against nation; nor shall they learn war any more.

Thomsonand the commoner bowed down and the noble humbled himself; therefore I will not forgive them.

ThomsonNow therefore go into the rocks and hide yourselves in the earth, from the tremendous presence of the Lord; and from the glory of His majesty, when He shall arise, to crush the land.

ThomsonFor the eyes of the Lord are lofty; but man is low; and the loftiness of these men shall be humbled; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

Thomsonand every man shall be humbled; and the haughtiness of these men shall fall; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

BrentonFor in that day a man shall cast forth his silver and gold abominations, which they made in order to worship vanities and bats;
