A lion has gone up from his den: a destroyer of nations hath begun his march and is come from his place to make this land a desolation; and the cities shall be demolished so as to be uninhabitable.

Ἀνέβη λέων ἐκ τῆς μάνδρας αὐτοῦ, ἐξολοθρεύων ἔθνη ἐξῇρε, καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἐκ τοῦ τόπου αὐτοῦ, τοῦ θεῖναι τὴν γῆν εἰς ἐρήμωσιν· καὶ αἱ πόλεις καθαιρεθήσονται, παρὰ τὸ μὴ κατοικεῖσθαι αὐτάς.
