Why sit we still? Assemble and let us go into the fortified cities; and let us be cast off there; since God hath cast us off. He hath indeed given us water of gall to drink because we have sinned against Him.

Ἐπὶ τί ἡμεῖς καθήμεθα; συνάχθητε, καὶ εἰσέλθωμεν εἰς τὰς πόλεις τὰς ὀχυρὰς, καὶ ἀποῤῥιφῶμεν ἐκεῖ, ὅτι ὁ Θεὸς ἀπέῤῥιψεν ἡμᾶς, καὶ ἐπότισεν ἡμᾶς ὕδωρ χολῆς, ὅτι ἡμάρτομεν ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ.
