Judges 16:24

And when the people saw him, they sang praises to their god, saying, Our god hath delivered our enemy into our hands—him who wasted our land, and multiplied the number of our slain. Now when their heart was elated with joy, they said, Call Sampson from the prison, and let him make sport for us;

And the people saw him, and sang praises to their god; for our god, said they, has delivered into our hand our enemy, who wasted our land, and who multiplied our slain.
