But while they were cheering their hearts, behold the men of the city—sons of transgressors, surrounded the house, and knocked at the door, and spake to the man, the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring out the man who came to thy house that we may know him.

And they were comforting their heart, when, behold, the men of the city, sons of transgressors, compassed the house, knocking at the door: and they spoke to the old man the owner of the house, saying, Bring out the man who came into thy house, that we may know him.

Αὐτοὶ δὲ ἀγαθύνοντες καρδίαν αὐτῶν· καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες τῆς πόλεως υἱοὶ παρανόμων ἐκύκλωσαν τὴν οἰκίαν, κρούοντες ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν· καὶ εἶπον πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν κύριον τοῦ οἴκου τὸν πρεσβύτην, λέγοντες, ἐξένεγκε τὸν ἄνδρα ὅς εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν σου, ἵνα γνῶμεν αὐτόν.
