Septuagint · public domain
Thomson 1808
And the gate of the fountain was secured by Solomon son of Choleze, a chief of a part of Maspha. He rebuilt and covered it, and set up the doors and the bars thereof, and built the wall of the pool of poppies by the king’s garden, continuing it on to the stairs coming down from the city of David.
Brenton 1851
But Solomon the son of Choleze repaired the gate of the fountain, the ruler of part of Maspha; he built it, and covered it, and set up its doors and its bars, and the wall of the pool of the skins by the meadow of the king, and as far as the steps that lead down from the city of David.
