Proverbs 29:25

Septuagint · public domain
Thomson 1808
They who fear and reverence men have been supplanted: but he whose trust is in the Lord shall be gladdened. Impiety causeth a man to fall: but he who trusteth in the Lord shall be safe.
Brenton 1851
they fearing and reverencing men unreasonably have been overthrown, but he that trusts in the Lord shall rejoice. Ungodliness causes a man to stumble: but he that trusts in his master shall be safe.
