ThomsonPRAISE God in His holies; praise Him in the firmament of His power.
BrentonAlleluia. Praise God in his holy places: praise him in the firmament of his power.
GreekἉλληλούϊα. Αἰνεῖτε τὸν Θεὸν ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις αὐτοῦ, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν στερεώματι δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ.

ThomsonPraise Him for his mighty acts: praise Him according to His abundant majesty:
BrentonPraise him on account of his mighty acts: praise him according to his abundant greatness.
GreekΑἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐπὶ ταῖς δυναστείαις αὐτοῦ, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῆς μεγαλωσύνης αὐτοῦ.

BrentonPraise him with the sound of a trumpet: praise him with psaltery and harp.
GreekΑἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν ἤχῳ σάλπιγγος, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν ψαλτηρίῳ καὶ κιθάρᾳ.

Thomsonpraise Him with the psaltery and kithara: praise Him with the timbrel and chorus: praise Him with stringed and wind instruments;
BrentonPraise him with timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and the organ.
GreekΑἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν τυμπάνῳ καὶ χορῷ, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν χορδαῖς καὶ ὀργάνῳ.

BrentonPraise him with melodious cymbals: praise him with loud cymbals.
GreekΑἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν κυμβάλοις εὐήχοις, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν κυμβάλοις ἀλαλαγμοῦ.

Thomsonpraise Him with the cymbals of triumph: let every breath praise the Lord.
