Psalms 136

2O, give thanks to the God of gods, for His mercy endureth forever.

3Give thanks to the Lord of lords; for His mercy endureth forever.

4To Him Who alone hath done great wonders; for His mercy endureth forever—

5to Him Who made the heavens with wisdom: for His mercy endureth forever—

6to Him Who established the earth on the waters: for His mercy endureth forever—

7to Him Who alone made the great lights: for His mercy endureth forever—

8the sun to rule the day: for His mercy endureth forever—

9the moon and the stars to rule the night; for His mercy endureth forever—

10to Him Who smote Egypt with their first-born; for His mercy endureth forever—

11and brought out Israel from among them; for His mercy endureth forever:

12with a strong hand and an outstretched arm; for His mercy endureth forever—

13to Him Who divided the Red Sea into parts; for His mercy endureth forever.

14And led Israel through the midst thereof: for His mercy endureth forever:

15but shook off Pharao and his hosts into the Red Sea; for His mercy endureth forever:—

16to Him, Who led His people through the desert; for His mercy endureth forever—

17to Him Who smote great kings; for His mercy endureth forever:

18and slew kings of mighty power: for His mercy endureth forever.—

19Seon king of the Amorites; for His mercy endureth forever;

20And Og the king of Basan; for His mercy endureth forever:

21and gave their land for an inheritance; for His mercy endureth forever:

22an inheritance for Israel His servant; for His mercy endureth forever:

23because in our affliction the Lord remembered us;

24for His mercy endureth forever; and redeemed us from our enemies; for His mercy endureth forever.

25He it is Who giveth food to all flesh: for His mercy endureth forever.

26O give thanks to the God of heaven: for to everlasting His mercy endureth.
