you shall bring them both out to the gate of the city, and stone them with stones, till they die—the young woman, because she did not cry aloud in the city, and the man because he humbled the wife of his neighbour. So thou shalt remove evil from among you.

ἐξάξετε ἀμφοτέρους ἐπὶ τὴν πυλὴν τῆς πόλεως αὐτῶν, καὶ λιθοβοληθήσονται ἐν λίθοις, καὶ ἀποθανοῦνται· τὴν νεᾶνιν, ὅτι οὐκ ἐβόησεν ἐν τῇ πόλει· καὶ τὸν ἄνθρωπον, ὅτι ἐταπείνωσε τὴν γυναῖκα τοῦ πλησίον· καὶ ἐξαρεῖς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ ὑμῶν αὐτῶν.
