ThomsonTHEN the Lord said to Moses, Come up to the Lord, thou and Aaron and Nadab and Abuid and seventy of the elders of Israel; and let them at a distance worship the Lord;

Thomsonand let Moses alone approach near to God. As for them they shall not approach near; nor shall the people come up with them.

ThomsonSo Moses came and told the people all the words of God and the rules of rectitude, and all the people with one voice answered and said, All the words which the Lord hath spoken we will perform and we will be obedient.

ThomsonNow when they had appeared in the presence of God and had eaten and drunk the Lord said to Moses, Come up to me on the mount and stay there and I will give thee the tables of stone, the law and the commandments which I have written to be promulgated to them.
