Ezra 4:23
Thomson 1808
When king Arthasastha’s collector of tribute had read this in the presence of Reum Baltam and Sampsa, the secretary, and his fellow-servants, they marched in haste to Jerusalem, and through Juda, and with horsemen and an army caused them to stop.
Brenton 1851
Then the tribute-gatherer of king Arthasastha read the letter before Reum the chancellor, and Sampsa the scribe, and his fellow-servants: and they went in haste to Jerusalem and through Juda, and caused them to cease with horses and an armed force.
