Upon this Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had bethrothed his daughters and said, Arise and depart from this place; for the Lord is going to destroy this city. But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be mocking.

And Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law who had married his daughters, and said, Rise up, and depart out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city; but he seemed to be speaking absurdly before his sons-in-law.

Ἐξῆλθε δὲ Λῶτ, καὶ ἐλάλησε πρὸς τοὺς γαμβροὺς αὐτοῦ τοὺς εἰληφότας τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτοῦ, καὶ εἶπεν, ἀνάστητε, καὶ ἐξέλθετε ἐκ τοῦ τόπου τούτου, ὅτι ἐκτρίβει Κύριος τὴν πόλιν· ἔδοξε δὲ γελοιάζειν ἐναντίον τῶν γαμβρῶν αὐτοῦ.
