ThomsonAND when any person shall bring a sacrificial gift to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour, and he shall pour oil on it and lay frankincense on it.
BrentonAnd if a soul bring a gift, a sacrifice to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.
GreekἘὰν δὲ ψυχὴ προσφέρῃ δῶρον θυσίαν τῷ Κυρίῳ, σεμίδαλις ἔσται τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐπιχεεῖ ἐπʼ αὐτὸ ἔλαιον, καὶ ἐπιθήσει ἐπʼ αὐτὸ λίβανον· θυσία ἐστί.

ThomsonIt is a sacrifice: and he shall carry it to the sons of Aaron, the priests; and the priest having taken out a handful of the flour with the oil, and all the frankincense thereof shall lay this memorial of it on the altar. It is a sacrifice, a smell of fragrance for the Lord.
BrentonAnd he shall bring it to the priests the sons of Aaron: and having taken from it a handful of the fine flour with the oil, and all its frankincense, then the priest shall put the memorial of it on the altar: it is a sacrifice, an odour of sweet savour to the Lord.
GreekΚαὶ οἴσει πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀαρὼν τοὺς ἱερεῖς· καὶ δραξάμενος ἀπʼ αὐτῆς πλήρη τὴν δράκα ἀπὸ τῆς σεμιδάλεως σὺν τῷ ἐλαίῳ, καὶ πάντα τὸν λίβανον αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐπιθήσει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον· θυσία ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας τῷ Κυρίῳ.

ThomsonAnd the rest of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord.
BrentonAnd the remainder of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord.
GreekΚαὶ τὸ λοιπὸν ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ, ἅγιον τῶν ἁγίων ἀπὸ τῶν θυσιῶν Κυρίου.

ThomsonAnd if he bring a gift, a baked sacrifice from the oven, his gift to the Lord shall be of fine flour—he shall bring unleavened loaves tempered with oil or unleavened cakes anointed with oil.
BrentonAnd if he bring as a gift a sacrifice baked from the oven, a gift to the Lord of fine flour, he shall bring unleavened bread kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil.

ThomsonAnd if thy gift be a sacrifice from the pan, it must be of fine flour tempered with oil, without leaven.
BrentonAnd if thy gift be a sacrifice from a pan, it is fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened offerings.
GreekἘὰν δὲ θυσία ἀπὸ τηγάνου τὸ δῶρόν σου, σεμίδαλις πεφυραμένη ἐν ἐλαίῳ ἄζυμά ἐστι.

ThomsonAnd having broken it to pieces thou shalt crumble the fragments and pour oil thereon. It is a sacrifice to the Lord.
BrentonAnd thou shalt break them into fragments and pour oil upon them: it is a sacrifice to the Lord.
GreekΚαὶ διαθρύψεις αὐτὰ κλάσματα, καὶ ἐπιχεεῖς ἐπʼ αὐτὰ ἔλαιον· θυσία ἐστὶ Κυρίῳ.

ThomsonAnd if thy gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, the fine flour must be made up with oil.
BrentonAnd if thy gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
GreekἘὰν δὲ θυσία ἀπὸ ἐσχάρας τὸ δῶρόν σου, σεμίδαλις ἐν ἐλαίῳ ποιηθήσεται.

ThomsonAnd he shall bring the sacrifice which he hath prepared of these materials for the Lord and carry it to the priest; and the priest shall carry it near to the altar
BrentonAnd he shall offer the sacrifice which he shall make of these to the Lord, and shall bring it to the priest.

Thomsonand shall take from the sacrifice the memorial of it and lay it on the altar. It is an homage offering, a smell of fragrance for the Lord;
BrentonAnd the priest shall approach the altar, and shall take away from the sacrifice a memorial of it, and the priest shall place it on the altar: a burnt offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.
GreekΚαὶ προσεγγίσας πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον, ἀφελεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐπιθήσει ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον, κάρπωμα· ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας Κυρίῳ.

Thomsonand the rest of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons. These are most holy portions from the homage offerings of the Lord.
BrentonAnd that which is left of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, most holy from the burnt-offerings of the Lord.
GreekΤὸ δὲ καταλειφθὲν ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας, Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ, ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων Κυρίου.

ThomsonEvery sacrifice which you bring to the Lord, you shall prepare without leaven; for you must not bring any kind of leaven, not even honey, as a gift to pay homage to the Lord.
BrentonYe shall not leaven any sacrifice which ye shall bring to the Lord; for as to any leaven, or any honey, ye shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord.
GreekΠᾶσαν θυσίαν, ἣν ἂν προσφέρητε Κυρίῳ, οὐ ποιήσετε ζυμωτόν· πᾶσαν γὰρ ζύμην, καὶ πᾶν μέλι οὐ προσοίσετε ἀπʼ αὐτοῦ, καρπῶσαι Κυρίῳ δῶρον.

ThomsonYou may bring them as gifts of first fruits to the Lord; but they shall not be laid on the altar for a smell of fragrance for the Lord.
BrentonYe shall bring them in the way of fruits to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord.
GreekἈπαρχῆς προσοίσετε αὐτὰ Κυρίῳ, ἐπὶ δὲ τὸ θυσιαστήριον οὐκ ἀναβιβασθήσεται εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας Κυρίῳ.

ThomsonEvery gift of your sacrifice must be seasoned with salt. You shall not withhold the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices. With every gift you make, you shall offer salt to the Lord your God.
BrentonAnd every gift of your sacrifice shall be seasoned with salt; omit not the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices: on every gift of yours ye shall offer salt to the Lord your God.
GreekΚαὶ πᾶν δῶρον θυσίας ὑμῶν ἁλὶ ἁλισθήσεται· οὐ διαπαύσατε ἅλας διαθήκης Κυρίου ἀπὸ θυσιασμάτων ὑμῶν· ἐπὶ παντὸς δώρου ὑμῶν προσοίσετε Κυρίῳ τῷ Θεῷ ὑμῶν ἅλας.

ThomsonAnd when thou bringest a sacrifice of first fruits to the Lord, it must be young parched grains broken in the mill.
BrentonAnd if thou wouldest offer a sacrifice of first-fruits to the Lord, it shall be new grains ground and roasted for the Lord; so shalt thou bring the sacrifice of the first-fruits.
GreekἘὰν δὲ προσφέρῃς θυσίαν πρωτογεννημάτων τῷ Κυρίῳ, νέα πεφρυγμένα χίδρα ἐρικτὰ τῷ Κυρίῳ· καὶ προσοίσεις τὴν θυσίαν τῶν πρωτογεννημάτων.

ThomsonThis sacrifice of the first fruits thou shalt offer to the Lord, and thou shalt pour oil on it and put frankincense on it. It is a sacrifice.
BrentonAnd thou shalt pour oil upon it, and shalt put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.
GreekΚαὶ ἐπιχεεῖς ἐπʼ αὐτὴν ἔλαιον, καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπʼ αὐτὴν λίβανον· θυσία ἐστί.

ThomsonAnd the priest shall carry up as the memorial of it some of the broken grains with all the frankincense. It is an homage offering to the Lord.
BrentonAnd the priest shall offer the memorial of it taken from the grains with the oil, and all its frankincense: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord.
GreekΚαὶ ἀνοίσει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς ἀπὸ τῶν χίδρων σὺν τῷ ἐλαίῳ, καὶ πάντα τὸν λίβανον αὐτῆς· κάρπωμά ἐστι Κυρίῳ.
