ThomsonAND if his gift to the Lord be a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and he bring it from the herd, whether it be a male or a female, he shall bring it without blemish before the Lord
BrentonAnd if his gift to the Lord be a peace-offering, if he should bring it of the oxen, whether it be male or whether it be female, he shall bring it unblemished before the Lord.
GreekἘὰν δὲ θυσία σωτηρίου τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ τῷ Κυρίῳ, ἐὰν μὲν ἐκ τῶν βοῶν αὐτὸ προσαγάγῃ, ἐάν τω ἄρσεν, ἐάν τε θῆλυ, ἄμωμον προσάξει αὐτὸ ἔναντι Κυρίου.

Thomsonand shall lay his hands on the head of the gift and kill it before the Lord at the doors of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron, the priests shall pour the blood on the altar of whole burnt offerings round about.
BrentonAnd he shall lay his hands on the head of the gift, and shall slay it before the Lord, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness. And the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood on the altar of burnt-offerings round about.

ThomsonAnd from the sacrifice of thanksgiving they shall offer up as an homage offering to the Lord the caul which covereth the belly and all the suet on the belly
BrentonAnd they shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord, the fat covering the belly, and all the fat on the belly.
GreekΚαὶ προσάξουσιν ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας τοῦ σωτηρίου κάρπωμα Κυρίῳ, τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον τὴν κοιλίαν, καὶ πᾶν τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας.

Thomsonand the two kidneys with the suet on them, and that on the flanks, and with the kidneys he shall take off the lobe of the liver.
BrentonAnd the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them; he shall take away that which is on the thighs, and the caul above the liver together with the kidneys.

ThomsonAnd the sons of Aaron, the priests shall offer up these on the altar—on the whole burnt offerings which are on the wood on the fire. It is an offering of homage, a smell of fragrance for the Lord.
BrentonAnd the priests the sons of Aaron shall offer them on the altar on the burnt-offering, on the wood which is on the fire upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.
GreekΚαὶ ἀνοίσουσιν αὐτὰ οἱ υἱοὶ Ἀαρὼν οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐπὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα ἐπὶ τὰ ξύλα, τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ πυρὸς ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου· κάρπωμα ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας Κυρίῳ.

ThomsonAnd if his gift be a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord from the flock, whether it be a male or a female, he shall offer it without blemish.
BrentonAnd if his gift be of the sheep, a peace-offering to the Lord, male or female, he shall bring it unblemished.

ThomsonAnd from the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer as an offering of homage to the Lord the fat tail and the whole loin which he shall take off with the rump; and having taken off the caul which covereth the inwards and all the fat on the belly
BrentonAnd he shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord: the fat and the hinder part unblemished he shall take away with the loins, and having taken away all the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly,

ThomsonAnd if his gift be from the goats, he shall bring it before the Lord
BrentonAnd if his offering be of the goats, then shall he bring it before the Lord.

ThomsonAll the suet for the Lord shall be an ordinance for ever throughout your generations. You shall not eat suet nor blood of any kind.
BrentonIt is a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your habitations; ye shall eat no fat and no blood.
GreekΝόμιμον εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν, ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν· πᾶν στέαρ καὶ πᾶν αἷμα οὐκ ἔδεσθε.
