ThomsonGive a charge to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, You shall observe to bring me My gifts, My oblations, My homage offerings for a smell of fragrance at My festivals.
BrentonCharge the children of Israel, and thou shalt speak to them, saying, Ye shall observe to offer to me in my feasts my gifts, my presents, my burnt-offerings for a sweet-smelling savour.

Thomsonand for a sacrifice of flour, thou shalt offer the tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed up with the quarter of an hin of oil.
BrentonAnd thou shalt offer the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat-offering, mingled with oil, with the fourth part of a hin.

ThomsonIt is the continual whole burnt offering, which was instituted at mount Sina, for a smell of fragrance for the Lord: and for the libation thereof, thou shalt offer, with the first lamb, a quarter of an hin of wine.
BrentonIt is a perpetual whole-burnt-offering, a sacrifice offered in the mount of Sina for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord.

ThomsonIn the holy place thou shalt pour out as a libation the choicest wine to the Lord.
BrentonAnd its drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin to each lamb; in the holy place shalt thou pour strong drink as a drink-offering to the Lord.

ThomsonAnd towards evening thou shalt offer the other lamb, with the like sacrifice, and the like libation; for a smell of fragrance for the Lord.
BrentonAnd the second lamb thou shalt offer toward evening; thou shalt offer it according to its meat-offering and according to its drink-offering for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

ThomsonAnd on the day of the sabbaths, you shall bring two lambs of the first year, without blemish, and two tenths of fine flour mixed up with oil, for a sacrifice, together with a libation,

Thomsonand their libation shall be, the half of an hin of wine for each bull; and the third of an hin for the ram; and the fourth of an hin for every lamb. This shall be the whole burnt offering, month after month, for all the months of the year—
BrentonTheir drink-offering shall be the half of a hin for one calf; and the third of a hin for one ram; and the fourth part of a hin of wine for one lamb: this is the whole-burnt-offering monthly throughout the months of the year.

ThomsonAlso a kid of the goats, for a sin offering. This, with its libation, shall be offered to the Lord, over and above the continual whole burnt offering.
BrentonAnd he shall offer one kid of the goats for a sin-offering to the Lord; it shall be offered beside the continual whole-burnt-offering and its drink-offering.

Thomsonand on the fifteenth day of the month shall commence the festival thereof. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.

ThomsonNow, this first day shall be solemnly set apart for you. You shall not do any kind of sacrificial service;

Thomsonand thou shalt prepare a tenth for every one of the seven lambs;

Thomsonover and above the whole burnt offering which is to be made every morning, and which is a continual whole burnt offering.
BrentonBeside the perpetual whole-burnt-offering in the morning, which is a whole-burnt-sacrifice for a continuance,

ThomsonAfter this manner you shall make daily offerings, during the seven days, as a gift—an offering of homage, for a smell of fragrance, to the Lord: over and above the continual whole burnt offering, thou shalt offer it with its libation.
Brentonthese shall ye thus offer daily for seven days, a gift, a sacrifice for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord; beside the continual whole-burnt-offering, thou shalt offer its drink-offering.

ThomsonOver and above the continual whole burnt offering, you shall offer me the sacrifice of these (and see that they be without blemish) together with the libations thereof.
Brentonye shall offer to me their meat-offering. They shall be to you unblemished, and ye shall offer their drink-offerings.
