ThomsonSHOUT triumphantly for the Lord, all ye of the land.
BrentonA Psalm of David. I will sing to thee, O Lord, of mercy and judgment; I will sing a psalm,
GreekΨαλμὸς τῷ Δαυίδ. Ἔλεος καὶ κρίσιν ᾄσομαί σοι, Κύριε·

ThomsonServe the Lord with gladness. Come before Him with the shout of joy.
Brentonand I will be wise in a blameless way. When wilt thou come to me? I walked in the innocence of my heart, in the midst of my house.
Greekψαλῶ καὶ συνήσω ἐν ὁδῷ ἀμώμῳ· πότε ἥξεις πρὸς μέ; διεπορευόμην ἐν ἀκακίᾳ καρδίας μου, ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ οἴκου μου.

ThomsonKnow that the Lord is very God: He made us and not we ourselves: we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
BrentonI have not set before mine eyes any unlawful thing; I have hated transgressors.

ThomsonO enter His gates with thanksgiving—His courts with songs of praise: give thanks to Him and praise His name:
BrentonA perverse heart has not cleaved to me; I have not known an evil man, forasmuch as he turns away from me.

Thomsonfor the Lord is good; His mercy endureth forever—and His truth to all generations.
BrentonHim that privily speaks against his neighbour, him have I driven from me: he that is proud in look and insatiable in heart,—with him I have not eaten.
GreekΤὸν καταλαλοῦντα λάθρα τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ, τοῦτον ἐξεδίωκον· ὑπερηφάνῳ ὀφθαλμῷ καὶ ἀπλήστῳ καρδίᾳ, τούτῳ οὐ συνήσθιον.
