ThomsonTHE Lord hath commenced His reign: let peoples rage. He is enthroned on the cherubim; let the earth be shaken.
BrentonA Psalm for Thanksgiving. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
GreekΨαλμὸς εἰς ἐξομολόγησιν. Ἀλαλάξατε τῷ Κυρίῳ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ,

ThomsonThe Lord is great in Sion and high over all the tribes.
BrentonServe the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with exultation.
Greekδουλεύσατε τῷ Κυρίῳ ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ· εἰσέλθατε ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει.

ThomsonLet them praise Thy great name, for it is awful and holy.
BrentonKnow that the Lord he is God; he made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
GreekΓνῶτε ὅτι Κύριος αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ Θεός· αὐτὸς ἐποίησεν ἡμᾶς, καὶ οὐχ ἡμεῖς, λαὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ πρόβατα τῆς νομῆς αὐτοῦ.

ThomsonAs the honour of a king loveth judgment; Thou hast provided rules of rectitude; and executed judgment and justice in Israel.
BrentonEnter into his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with hymns; give thanks to him, praise his name.
GreekΕἰσέλθατε εἰς τὰς πύλας αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐξομολογήσει, τὰς αὐλὰς αὐτοῦ ἐν ὕμνοις· ἐξομολογεῖσθε αὐτῷ, αἰνεῖτε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ.

ThomsonExtol the Lord our God; and bow at His footstool; for He is holy.
BrentonFor the Lord is good, his mercy is for ever; and his truth endures to generation and generation.
GreekὍτι χρηστὸς Κύριος, εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἕως γενεᾶς καὶ γενεᾶς ἡ ἀλήθεια αὐτοῦ.
