ThomsonSHOUT for God in triumphant strains, all ye lands.

GreekΕἰς τὸ τέλος, ἐν ὕμνοις ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυίδ.

ThomsonSing harmoniously to His name, ascribe glory to His praise.
BrentonGod be merciful to us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us. Pause.
GreekὉ Θεὸς οἰκτειρήσαι ἡμᾶς, καὶ εὐλογήσαι ἡμᾶς, ἐπιφάναι τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς· διάψαλμα.

ThomsonSay to God, How awful are Thy works! For the greatness of Thy power, let Thine enemies submit to Thee.
BrentonThat men may know thy way on the earth, thy salvation among all nations.
GreekΤοῦ γνῶναι ἐν τῇ γῇ τὴν ὁδόν σου, ἐν πᾶσιν ἔθνεσι τὸ σωτήριόν σου.

ThomsonLet all the earth worship Thee. With music vocal and instrumental let them sing to Thee—let them sing harmoniously to Thy name.
BrentonLet the nations, O God, give thanks to thee; let all the nations give thanks to thee.
GreekἘξομολογησάσθωσάν σοι λαοὶ ὁ Θεὸς, ἐξομολογησάσθωσάν σοι λαοὶ πάντες.

ThomsonCome and see the works of God! He is awful in counsels touching the sons of men.
BrentonLet the nations rejoice and exult, for thou shalt judge the peoples in equity, and shalt guide the nations on the earth. Pause.
GreekΕὐφρανθήτωσαν καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν ἔθνη, ὅτι κρινεῖς λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι, καὶ ἔθνη ἐν τῇ γῇ ὁδηγήσεις· διάψαλμα.

ThomsonWho ruleth by His everlasting power. His eyes look down on the nations. Let not the rebellious exalt themselves.
BrentonThe earth has yielded her fruit; let God, our God, bless us.
GreekΓῆ ἔδωκε τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῆς· εὐλογήσαι ἡμᾶς ὁ Θεὸς, ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν,

ThomsonO! Bless our God, ye nations; and cause the sound of His praise to be heard.
