Psalms 110

Psalms · Thomson 1808 · public domain

1THE Lord said to my lord; sit at My right hand; till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2Out of Sion the Lord will send thee a rod of power: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3With thee shall be the government; in the day of thy power—in the splendours of thy holies from the womb: before the morning star I begot thee.

4The Lord hath sworn and will not change: thou art a priest forever, after the order of Melchisedek.

5The Lord at thy right hand hath crushed kings in the day of His wrath.

6He will judge among the nations: He will multiply slaughters: He will crush the heads of many on the earth.

7He will drink of the brook in the way: therefore He will lift up the head.
