Psalms 111
I WILL praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; in the counsel of the upright and the congregation.
The works of the Lord are great; exquisitely contrived for all His purposes.
Thanksgiving and majesty, His work and His righteousness shall endure forever.
He hath made a memorial of His wonders: merciful and gracious is the Lord.
He hath given food to them that fear Him: He will remember His covenant forever.
He hath shewn His people the power of His works; by giving them possession of nations.
The works of His hands are truth and judgment: all His commandments are faithful.
They are firmly established forever: they are done with truth and uprightness.
He hath sent redemption for His people; He hath enjoined His covenant forever: holy and awful is His name.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and all who practise it have good understanding. Let the praise of Him endure forever.
