Psalms 99
1THE Lord hath commenced His reign: let peoples rage. He is enthroned on the cherubim; let the earth be shaken.
2The Lord is great in Sion and high over all the tribes.
3Let them praise Thy great name, for it is awful and holy.
4As the honour of a king loveth judgment; Thou hast provided rules of rectitude; and executed judgment and justice in Israel.
5Extol the Lord our God; and bow at His footstool; for He is holy.
6Moses and Aaron among His priests; and Samuel among them, who invoke His name; called on the Lord, and He hearkened to them.
7To them He spoke in a pillar of cloud. They kept His testimonies and the statutes which He gave them.
8O Lord, our God, Thou didst hearken to them—To them Thou wast a God propitious; though executing vengeance on all the people’s devices.
9Extol the Lord our God and worship on His Holy hill: for the Lord our God is holy.
