ThomsonAND the borders of the children of Joseph were from the Jordan, in front of Jericho eastward, and to go up from Jericho to the hilly country—the wilderness to Baithel-louza, and having come out to Baithel,

Thomsonand proceed westward, along the borders of Aptalim, till it reacheth the borders of lower Baithoron; and the termination thereof is to be at the sea.

Thomsonthe borders of the children of Ephraim, according to their communities were these. The boundary of their possession from the east were Ataroth, and Erok, till it reached the upper Baithoron, and Gazara;
BrentonAnd the borders of the children of Ephraim were according to their families, and the borders of their inheritance were eastward to Ataroth, and Eroc as far as Bæthoron the upper, and Gazara.

Thomsonwith the cities set apart for the children of Ephraim, in the inheritance of the children of Manasses, comprehended all their cities and their villages.
BrentonAnd the cities separated to the sons of Ephraim were in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasse, all the cities and their villages.
